In 2011, Center of Legal Competence (CLC) – Forschung & Consulting GmbH emerged from a management buy-out of the association “Center of Legal Competence (CLC) – Beratungs- und Forschungszentrum zur Förderung der Kompetenz auswärtiger Institutionen”, which implemented projects in European transition countries with a total volume of approximately 35 million euros between 1999 and 2010.To preserve the special expertise of the CLC, Mario Thurner and Ninel Jasmine Sadjadi, both founding members of the CLC Association, by way of a management buy-out acquired the 100% interest of the CLC Association in the limited liability company Center of Legal Competence (CLC) – Forschung & Consulting GmbH including all rights and duties which the selling shareholder has vis-à-vis the company.
Those rights and duties include but are not limited to continuing the use of the internet domain and the company logo and making a due reference to CLC Association as the founder of the limited liability company.
To do so in the future is not only our obligation but also our motivation, since we are well aware of the responsibility that comes with duly preserving and continuing the CLC name.
