Information Folder Court Assistance

Information Folder Court Assistance

The information folder on court assistance directly addresses (a) victims as defined in Section 65 No. 1 (a) and (b) Criminal Procedure Code (CPC) as well as (b) victims of terrorist offences (Section 278c of the Criminal Code), (c) victims of persistent stalking (Section 107a of the Criminal Code), persistent harassment involving telecommunication or computer systems (Section 107c of the Criminal Code) and hate speech (Section 283 of the Criminal Code), (d) victims of criminal defamation (Section 111 of the Criminal Code), accusation of prior offences that have been served or waived (Section 113 of the Criminal Code), insult (Section 115 of the Criminal Code) and false accusation (Section 297 of the Criminal Code), if it can be assumed on the basis of certain indications that such an act was committed by means of a telecommunications or computer system and (e) minors who have witnessed violence in the social environment (violence in the family, violence against children), and provides an overview of information on court assistance options in Austria.

The folder is currently available in sixteen different languages.
