Nationwide Basic Training for Family and Youth Court Support WorkersIn collaboration with the sectional heads and team leader level representatives of Family and Youth Court Support (FJGH), judges, CLC and external experts, the (former) Federal Ministry of Justice has developed a mandatory nationwide basic training curriculum for all new staff of FJGH.
The aim of this nationwide basic training is to ensure that all staff members of FJGH in Austria meet the same requirements and warrant a single nationwide professional standard. This is to also ensure that all employees of FJGH may work both as family court support workers and youth court support workers.
The nationwide basic training includes a total of seven modules of three days each. The contents of the different modules do not follow a particular order, which means that new employees of FJGH may start the nationwide basic training at any time. For every module a training document was prepared, which may be used as a study aid by those attending the nationwide basic training.
