Association of the European Network on Victims' Rights (AENVR)

Association of the European Network on Victims' Rights (AENVR)

The European Network on Victims’ Rights (ENVR) is an informal network consisting of European Union Member State professionals acting in the field of victims’ rights. Victims have been given numerous rights by European Union legislation as regards their position in the criminal proceedings, and also the minimum standards of victim support services shall be provided for them. The vision of the ENVR focuses on making the European Union legislation applicable in the practice through maintaining a living network among Member State professionals.

Recalling the Evaluation of the European Network on Victims’ Rights (doc. 8611/17) issued by the Council of the European Union, the Association of the European Network on Victims’ Rights (AENVR) has been established to ensure the permanent operation of the ENVR as a network of Member State professionals.

The Management Center for Victim Support (MZ.O) serves as national contact point for the ENVR.
